Defenders seek ‘stuff’ for summer garage sale

CRYSTAL LAKE – In preparation for their summer garage sale, the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County will take donations of gently used items from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Algonquin Township Road District garage, 3702 Route 14, between Crystal Lake and Cary.

Those wishing to donate should drive back to the beige garage on the right.

Just about anything that is resellable will be accepted, with a few exceptions.

Small appliances and electronics must be in working order.

Items that will not be accepted include monitors, TVs, clothes, baby carriers, cribs and large appliances.

Sale dates and times for the garage sale are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 18 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 19 and 20.
