Lake in the Hills summer concert to feature Scott Dubose Band

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Lake in the Hills will have a little Ravinia with food, drinks and entertainment under the evening sky beginning at 6 p.m. July 20 on the lawn of Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate. The main acts take the stage at 7 p.m.

For adults, there’s the Scott DuBose Band, one of the biggest up-and-coming country/rock acts in the nation. DuBose’s music is a blend of everything from rock and rap to country and western.

Children will be dazzled by roving magician Brian Kennedy, who brings a variety of tricks and illusions, for a performance on the back lawn.

Families should bring folding chairs and bug spray. The People for Parks Foundation will be selling a variety of beverages to wash down the tasty dishes participants can purchase from Jersey Mike’s and the Gourmet Kernel.

The Funtasticamp Staff will lead family and children’s activities.

In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held in the Village Hall multipurpose room.
