Children invited to Hip Hop Explosion event at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park

CRYSTAL LAKE – Tweens are invited to attend Hip Hop Explosion on Friday at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at the Dole Mansion, 401 Country Club Road.

Hip Hop Explosion happens once a month and features a two-hour hip-hop program where children learn short dance routines and freestyle moves.

Hip Hop Explosion is designed for children 7 and older. Tickets are $6 a person, and the color theme for the event is white. Children are encouraged to express themselves through fashion, and wearing white is not required to attend.

Tickets can be bought at the door or in advance at Jamba Juice sells smoothies for $4 a drink at the event.

Hip Hop Explosion is put together with a partnership of Lakeside Legacy Foundation, Harper College Pom and Dance Team, Berkshire Ballet Theatre and Summers Academy of Dance, Fast Forward Marketing and Stacy Pahl and Janet Kay of From Me 2 You Photography.
