Diabetes support group to discuss foot care

Published: Thursday, July 18, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

HUNTLEY – Nearly 26 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes. For too many Americans, diabetes is thought of as a minor hindrance rather than the life-changing disease it is.

Patients and their loved ones will learn about foot care for diabetes at the diabetes support group from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. July 25 in the conference room of Centegra Health Campus, Huntley.

The diabetes support group meets on a quarterly basis to provide support for anyone with diabetes or those who support family members who have been diagnosed.

For information on Centegra Health System, visit centegra.org or call 877-236-8347.
