CHICAGO (AP) — The city of Chicago is adding free Wi-Fi at some of its most popular beaches.
The wireless Internet access will be available at five beaches and comes as the city tries to add online access in spots across the community.
The city's already added Wi-Fi to downtown's Millennium Park.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel has previously announced plans to expand the service to all its parts and open space while also working to expand high-speed Internet access in underserved and disadvantaged neighborhoods.
The free internet at the beaches is part of a partnership with Cisco and Everywhere Wireless.
