HAMPSHIRE – A woman was injured in a Hampshire subdivision Saturday night when heavy storms blew over a construction trailer.

The woman was outside in the area of Ross Street and Bristol Drive when the wind picked up and knocked down a nearby construction trailer, injuring the woman, said Lt. Brian Marlowe of the Hampshire Fire Protection District.

The department arrived at the scene around 8 p.m., treated the woman and transported her to Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Marlowe said. He did not know the severity of her injuries.

The woman's identity was not immediately being released.
