Motorcycle accident in Huntley sends two to the hospital

HUNTLEY – Two people were sent to the hospital Sunday evening, after their motorcycle collided with a van at Route 47 and Reed Road in Huntley, according to the Huntley Fire Protection District.

The male driver of the motorcycle suffered significant, but not severe, head injuries and a female passenger suffered minor injuries to her hands and feet, said Battalion Chief Russ Wilson.

Paramedics drove them to Centegra Hospital – Woodstock for treatment after canceling a Flight for Life request. The driver of the van was unharmed, Wilson said.

Officials were not immediately disclosing the identifies of the people involved in the accident.
