To the Editor:
Trayvon Martin was shot by George Zimmerman and died. Zimmerman claimed that it was in self-defense.
We all know the story. I always have been taught that a person is innocent until proved guilty. I’ve seen it on TV. I’ve heard it on radio, and I have seen it in the newspapers.
Zimmerman has been found not guilty. Innocent. Period.
In November 2012 at a news conference, President Obama was asked a question about Gen. David Petraeus and an affair he was having. His answer: “You are going to have to talk to the FBI. We’re not suppose to meddle in criminal investigations. That has been our practice. People are innocent until proven guilty.”
This is a quote by the president of the United States. Zimmerman has been found and proved to be innocent by a court of law. Why in the world does the president now want another investigation? If he wants to investigate something, why not investigate Mike Madigan and the RTA?
