Program to focus on middle stage of Alzheimer's disease

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Illinois Chapter’s educational program "Living with Alzheimer’s: For Middle-Stage Caregivers" will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at Senior Services, 110 W. Woodstock St.

In the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease, those who were care partners become hands-on caregivers.

In this two-part series, caregivers and professionals will discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s.

Susan Sklar will present and take questions after the program.
