LITH man arrested in DuPage on drug charges

WHEATON – Two men, including a Lake in the Hills man, are facing felony drug charges after allegedly setting up a drug sale with undercover officers, authorities said.

Remy Martin, 42, of the 300 block of Pocahontas Trail, was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class X felony. He was arrested July 25, by the DuPage County Tactical Narcotics Team.

Authorities said Martin and another man also charged with a Class X felony, Arthur Goodman, 34, of Lyons, met with undercover detectives to sell methamphetamine.

During the undercover operation, two men were seen buying drugs from Martin and Goodman, police said. The men, brothers Joseph Strubin, 30, and Christopher Strubin, 32, both of Palos Park, have been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 3 felony.

All four are being held in DuPage County Jail. Goodman and Martin are being held on $250,000 bond and the Strubin's are being held on $15,000 bond. The most serious charged carry a sentence of six to 30 years in prison.

The DuPage County by the Tactical Narcotics Team worked in conjunction with the Chicago Police Department and Woodridge Police Tactical Unit.
