Crystal Lake Police to host National Night Out

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Police will host a National Night Out event on Aug. 6 to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

The event will take place at Three Oaks Recreational Area on 5517 Northwest Highway and run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Activities will include face painting, police and fire resuce vehicles on display, a police canine demonstration, an emergency services team display, Glowby the Bubbler and games for children. Admission is free to all Crystal Lake residents.

Culver's will also be on-site providing a $2.50 meal deal that includes a hamburger or cheeseburger with fries, a drink and a cup of custard.
