Rutherford, I-Cash table to be at county fair

WOODSTOCK – State Treasurer Dan Rutherford encourages McHenry County residents to stop by his I-Cash table at the McHenry County Fair, which takes place Wednesday through Sunday.

Rutherford will be in attendance at the I-Cash booth from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.  For the remainder of the fair, staff will be available to help anyone wishing to determine whether the state is holding any money or unclaimed property entitled to them.

In fact,110,303 owners in McHenry County have $19,478,425 in unclaimed property.  This is according to the July list of unclaimed property holders.

Those who want to find out whether they have unclaimed property through I-Cash can visit the treasurer’s website at www.treasurer.il.gov and follow the I-Cash link. They also can contact the Unclaimed Property Division by calling 217-785-6998 or emailing info@Icash.Illinois.gov, although searches cannot be completed by telephone.
