CRYSTAL LAKE – Bob Ruer, owner of Play It Again Sports, 6124 Northwest Hwy, Crystal Lake, attended the Play It Again Sports Summer Trade Show July 16-18 in Denver.

The sporting goods reseller’s annual summer event is an opportunity for franchisees and their key staff members to address business concerns, learn about the latest trends and regulations in the sporting goods industry and gain hands-on experience with the latest marketing, advertising and operational tools provided by the franchise organization.

“This summer event is a top priority for us,” Ruer said in a press release. “Families arealready outfitting their kids for the upcoming fall sports seasons, and the information we gain at this trade show helps us have the right mix of gear and accessories available and to feel confident that what we offer meets all the latest safety requirements.”

Ruer said parents can stretch their budgets by trading or selling their used items at Play It Again Sports, “and then buying this year’s sports gear for their children at great value prices.”
