Car show Saturday to benefit Huntley police's support for Special Olympics

Tom Peck Ford in Huntley will host its 13th annual car show on Saturday to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

Car enthusiasts can display any make and model during the car show with a $10 donation. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the dealership, 13900 Automall Drive.

Admission to the show is free. Huntley police officers along with Special Olympic athletes will be present selling Torch Run merchandise and raffle tickets for a Harley Davidson motorcycle, while also raising awareness about the Special Olympics

All proceeds from the event benefit Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois, a statewide group that raises money year-round for Special Olympics Illinois. Nearly 3,000 law enforcement officials in Illinois, from local police officers to FBI agents, participate in the group.

For more information, contact Huntley police Sgt. Amy Williams, (847) 515 5331.
