CARY – Rock climbing for children, games and activities are some of the highlights of this year’s SportsFest 2013, a sports and fitness showcase sponsored by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 in the Feinberg Court Business District off Route 14 and Feinberg Drive in Cary.

Last year, the fest attracted more than 2,000 attendees. Vendors include local youth sports clubs, such as Cary Grove Junior Trojan Youth Football, Cary Youth Baseball, the Cary Soccer Association, Cary Matmen Wrestlers and others, as well as many sports and fitness-related businesses and resources.

The event will feature outdoor entertainment and food and demonstrations all day, from cheerleading to jazzercise and karate.
