Huntley's Luecht commits to D-II Lewis as pitcher

Huntley senior pitcher Eric Luecht has committed to play baseball at NCAA Division II Lewis University on scholarship.

Luecht, a right-hander, had a 7-3 record and 2.61 ERA for the Red Raiders last season. He had a 0.99 WHIP with 54 strikeouts and 18 walks in 48 1/3 innings.

Luecht helped the Raiders to a share of the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division title with Crystal Lake South and was named to the Northwest Herald All-Area second team.
