HUNTLEY – Sweet Repeats Thrift Shoppe has a new home at the Huntley Outlet Center, and this weekend it is celebrating its grand opening with store specials, guest appearances and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new location has more than 11,000 square feet of gently used and new items.  The store features home décor, housewares, clothing, jewelry, toys, books, furniture and small appliances.

All proceeds from the store go to Pioneer Center for Human Services, a nonprofit agency that provides youth and adult behavioral health services and counseling, developmental disability programs, sexual assault services, and homeless services.

The grand opening festivities will take place Friday through Sunday. Special sales will include select furniture at 50 percent off, a $1 clothing rack, and buy one, get one free books.

Shoppers also can enjoy cookies made by the “Cookie Queens of Huntley” and refreshments.

Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Tuesdays are senior discount days.

Donations of gently used items are accepted during normal store business hours.  For additional store information, call 815-759-7100 or visit
