College funding workshop planned in Huntley

HUNTLEY – A community workshop will be held Sept. 5 to teach parents of high school students about the opportunities available to help them finance their children’s college education. 

The workshop will take parents through the intricacies of the College Funding System from FAFSA applications to student aid reports with descriptions of all the major student grants and loans. 

The workshops will be free to the public; high school parents and students are encouraged to attend.

The workshop will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St., Huntley.
