Huntley Area Tea Party to discuss health care

Published: Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 11:53 p.m. CDT

HUNTLEY – The Huntley Area Tea Party will host a session Wednesday about upcoming changes to the nation’s health care system.

The group will gather at 6:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St.

The guest speaker will be Michael Kalthoff, a renowned health care technology entrepreneur and an outspoken critic of “government’s massive intrusion into our health care system going back to the 1960s,” according to a news release from the group.

Kalthoff is the author of “Saving Private Healthcare.”

Attendees will learn more about defunding strategies, the status of Obamacare and common sense ideas to dramatically lower health care costs without reducing access to high-quality health care.
