Chicago man injured after chain saw attack
CHICAGO — A 55-year-old man on Chicago's South Side was taken to the hospital in stable condition after he was attacked with a chain saw following an argument with a neighbor.
Chicago Police say the incident in the Washington Heights neighborhood took place shortly before 2 a.m. on Wednesday after the men had been drinking together in a backyard.
CPD spokesman Michael Sullivan says the fingers on the injured man's left hand were severely injured, but were still attached when he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
So far, no arrests have been made.
