CL Central co-op blazes to Huntley girls golf title

Crystal Lake Central co-op’s Larissa Luloff fired a 4-over-par 40 at Tuesday’s Huntley Invitational girls golf tournament, which would have been first on eight of the 10 teams.

The Tigers were so good, though, that they did not even count Luloff’s sixth-place overall score for their team total. Central’s co-op team shot 148 to finish 4-over as a team and win the tournament by 43 strokes over Burlington Central.

Lexi Harkins led the way with a 2-under 34 on Pinecrest’s back nine. Emily Jean (37), Bailey Bostler (38) and Brianna DiGrazia (39) had Central’s other counting scores. Burlington’s Jenna Kurosky was second in the tournament at 35.
