CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College will host a summer training program for a career as a private investigator.
The next "Introduction to Private Investigation" class is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, from Sept. 19 through Nov. 14, in Room A102 at the college, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.
Taught by a working licensed private detective, participants will learn how to locate lost loved ones, investigate fraud, interview witnesses to cases, and work in an undercover operation.
This class fulfills the training requirements mandated by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for obtaining the Permanent Employee Registration Card. The card is necessary for anyone interested in pursuing this profession.
All course materials are included in the course fee of $209.
