Common sense best

To the Editor:

Our state has jumped on board with those leaning left who believe it’s not their responsibility to defend this country’s freedom.

They would prefer others less important than themselves do the dirty work. Just like those in our entertainment business that require armed security while railing against gun ownership.

When they accomplish their goal and remove our ability to own weapons, who do they think will defend them from the daily horrors of our streets in a timely fashion? Unarmed private security, under-manned police forces or maybe some superhero played by another entertainer?

You don’t have to be a zealot from either side of the political scene to know that common sense makes better sense when representing the will of the people. Our politicians need to make laws that prevent crime rather than controling innocence.
