Rescuers spend night searching for missing infant

ZION — Dozens of people spent the night searching for a missing 5-month-old northern Illinois boy who authorities say disappeared from his Zion home.

About 125 police officers and emergency workers are still looking for Joshua Summeries, who was reportedly abducted Wednesday morning. The rescuers were also using bloodhounds to scour the area for the baby.

Zion Police Chief Wayne Brooks tells the Chicago Sun-Times that the boy "could have been harmed or worse." But called the disappearance an "isolated incident" and says police are questioning a person of interest.

The baby was reported missing by his mother, who was home when he disappeared.
