HUNTLEY – An SUV ended up in a cornfield after it collided with a semi-truck Thursday in Huntley.

Around 11 a.m. a vehicle made a U-turn on Main Street near Kreutzer Road, which caused the semi-truck to slam on the brakes, according to the Huntley Fire Department. The SUV then hit the back of the truck and swerved off into the cornfield.

The accident did not result in any injuries.

Traffic was moving slowly on Main Street as crews cleaned up the accident, but no lanes were shut down.
