3 Point Stance: Where would Bears be without Cutler
1. It seems well past the time someone points out the kindest evaluation we can make of Josh McCown is he is well below average. He entered the Raiders game 8 -16, 55 yards, 0 TD, 0 Int, one sack for the preseason and against Oakland was 5-9, 42 yards, 0 TD, 1 Int for a 28.2 passer rating. He was also flagged for illegal procedure on a play the Bears lost a fumble on when Taylor Boggs snapped the ball early as McCown tried to change the play. The bottom line is, even if the Bears keep either Jordan Palmer or Trent Edwards, their playoff hopes are almost certainly gone if Jay Cutler gets hurt.
