Missed it

To the Editor:

Every time that there is anything that happens negative in Harvard, it makes front page news. Anything that is for the good, you’re never there.

There was a fundraiser for Andi Swenson at the Cash Savers parking lot Aug. 24. There were between 400 and 500 people just for the 5K run/walk. And from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., there was food, games, silent auctions and a community that came together once again for the good of one of our own. Dozens of people volunteered their time, donated money, donated auction items, cooked and served food. What a great day we had.

I’m very proud to call Harvard home. Too bad you missed it.
