Dog Days of Dundee event planned

WEST DUNDEE – The Dundee Township Park District invites the public and its dogs to participate in its annual Dog Days of Dundee from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 7 at Randall Oaks Park, 1180 N. Randall Road, West Dundee.

The event aims to promote responsible pet ownership. There will be games, contests, demonstrations, music, a play area, rescue groups and specialty vendors.

Part of the proceeds will go toward local rescue/shelter groups.

There will be a donation box at the event to accept monetary donations, food, blankets and other donations to help animals in need.

Dundee Animal Hospital will be doing free dog microchipping at the event. An enrollment fee is due at the time of microchipping. Admission is free.
