Man airlifted to hospital after fall from roof

A 61-year-old man was airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville on Thursday after a fall from a roof in Cary.

CARY – A 61-year-old man was flown to the hospital Thursday after falling from the roof of a house in Cary.

The Flight for Life helicopter airlifted the man to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville at around 1 p.m.

The man fell between 15 and 20 feet, according to the Cary Fire Protection District. The man was conscious when paramedics arrived, and his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The fire department did not release any other information.
