Blood drive scheduled at Woodstock library

WOODSTOCK – Heartland Blood Centers will bring its mobile coach to the Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St., from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Donors must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and be age 17 or older, although 16-year-olds are eligible with written approval from a parent or guardian. A photo ID is also required.

Every donor who schedules an appointment online will receive 100 extra bonus points in Heartland’s Warm Hearts Club.

Points earned by donating blood can be redeemed for merchandise and gift cards, or donated back to Heartland Blood Centers, the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue program and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
