CRYSTAL LAKE – Area residents can explore creative cooking techniques and recipes at upcoming noncredit culinary classes offered this fall by the McHenry County College Continuing Education Department.
• Tapas Party: Professional chefs will create a menu specializing in the regional cuisine of Spain, including spicy potatoes with special tomato sauce, chicken croquettes, paella iberica, flan and sangria. • Everything Apple: Students will explore creative ways to use a variety of apples and also learn about the varieties and their flavors, texture, use and availability.
