Wine, craft fair planned in McHenry

McHENRY– The Pink Door Thrift Shop will participate in the 21st Country Meadows Wine and Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park.

The free event is sponsored by the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce and features crafts, wine tasting, a farmers market, music and vendors.

The Pink Door will have a large selection of collectible Barbie Dolls for sale, in the box and never opened. Collectors will find “Star Wars” toys in the box and hundreds of Beanie Babies. Select jewelry, vintage items and gift baskets also will be available.

The Pink Door is a nonprofit organization operated by the Auxiliary to Centegra Hospital – McHenry. All funds generated are donated for equipment and services at Centegra Hospital – McHenry.

Veterans Memorial Park is on Pearl Street between Court and Park Street. The park is one block north of Route 120 in McHenry.
