Defenders' Big Fall Book Sale begins Friday

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County will host their annual Big Fall Book Sale from Friday through Oct. 5 at the Algonquin Township Road District garage, 3702 Route 14, between Crystal Lake and Cary.

A variety of books and music will be available, everything from children's books to popular fiction, science to biography, CDs to vinyl record albums.

A preview sale will begin from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, and there will be a $10 admission fee for this day only.

The sale will continue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Then the sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Oct. 5. The sale will be closed on Sundays.

On Oct. 5, there will be a $5 Bag Sale.

The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the environment.
