Woodstock library to host identity theft workshop

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St., will host “Take Charge Illinois: Identity Theft, Frauds and Scams” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

During this financial workshop, staff members from the Illinois Comptroller’s Office will teach attendees how to identify potential scams and frauds, how to protect and prepare against identity theft and address concerns attendees may have if they have been a victim of identity theft.

Registration is requested, but not required, for this program and can be done online at www.woodstockpubliclibrary.org or at 815-338-0542.
