People often ask “How do I meet owners of organizations?” My answer is to go to the mixers. Watch for those hosted by organizations with owners you wish to meet.

The next mixer is Tuesday at Boone Creek Cabinet Co. The following mixer will be hosted by Marketing Connection on Oct. 1. On the menu will be ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket and chicken, along with homemade potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans. Desserts will include some of Raleigh Showens famous cheesecakes, such as cookies and cream, pumpkin and a ricotta. Everyone needs to bring a big appetite, a guest and business cards.
