RICHMOND – Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program’s annual Fall Fest will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at 6919 Keystone Road, across from the Glacial Park Conservation District.

The day includes music by Cassandra & the Gravel Road Band and the Bart Alonzo Group. There will be horse-drawn wagon and stagecoach rides, equestrian entertainment featuring the Midwest Renegades and Main Stay students, pumpkin decorating, face painting, children’s games and other fall activities.

Guests also will get to interact with Main Stay’s little animal herd.

Lunch will be provided by Porkies of Woodstock and is included in the ticket price.

Proceeds will benefit Main Stay, a nonprofit organization that provides equine and animal-assisted therapeutic activities to more than 100 individuals a week who are faced with physical, developmental, emotional and social challenges.

Main Stay also collaborates with other agencies such as Family Alliance, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Pioneer Center’s Youth Service Bureau.

Tickets cost $25 a person. Kids ages 7 and under are admitted free.
