Chicago Brass Band Players to perform at MCC

CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College’s popular Second Sunday concert series returns this fall with the Chicago Brass Band Players at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Luecht Conference Center at the college, 8900 Route 14. 

The concert is free and open to the public.

The Chicago Brass Band Players is a 10-member ensemble founded in 2002 from within the 30-piece Chicago Brass Band and performs a repertoire from the Renaissance through the 20th century.

The performance will feature sounds of the cornet, flugelhorn, tenor horn, baritone horn, trombone, euphonium, bass and percussion.
