Workforce Network to host training program

WOODSTOCK – The McHenry County Workforce Network is participating in a new federal grant awarded to the state’s Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity called Accelerated Training for Illinois Manufacturing. 

The Workforce Network will host an information session to highlight career and training opportunities made available through the grant in the following career fields: CNC operators, welders, robotics technicians and machine mechanics.

Grant funding is available to interested and eligible applicants.

The information session will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 24 at the McHenry County Workforce Center, 500 Russel Court, Woodstock. Information on eligibility requirements and where to apply for the program will be provided to those in attendance.
