Carpentersville seeks Park Commission applicants

CARPENTERSVILLE – Any resident of the village of Carpentersville interested in serving on the Carpentersville Park Commission is encouraged to submit a letter of interest to Village President Ed Ritter, Village of Carpentersville, 1200 L.W. Besinger Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110.

Letters of interest will be accepted until the position is filled.

The Park Commission is an advisory commission to the Village Board. The primary purpose of the commission is to recommend policies for the parks that are owned and operated by the village. The commission meets monthly and is composed of nine members appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the Village Board.

The term of membership for nontrustee members is two years. Nontrustee members must be residents of the village for at least a year.
