A Wisconsin woman faces felony theft charges after using her company credit card for personal use, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
Kristin A. Lauderdale, 38, of Elkhorn, Wis., was charged Thursday with two felony counts of theft for taking advantage of the business where she worked in Hebron between 2010 and 2012.
Lauderdale used her company credit card for personal and work-related expenses, and then was reimbursed by her employer for professional expenses, according to a news release. She also electronically transferred funds from a bank account owned by the business to pay the personal expenses charged.
Lauderdale is being held at the McHenry County Jail on $40,000 bond.
She is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Nov. 5.
