AURORA, Ill. (AP) — Aurora police have identified three people killed in a two-car accident earlier this week.
Police said Tuesday that 28-year-old Oscar O. Rodriguez of Aurora died in the crash. Also killed were two Montgomery residents, 57-year-old Rosa Cuanetl and 77-year-old Andrea Moyotl.
Police say Rodriguez's SUV apparently crossed the center lane and struck a minivan. Cuanetl, Moyotl and five others were in the minivan. The five were all severely injured including a 9-year-old boy, 10-year-old boy, 12-year-old boy, 17-year-old girl and 40-year-old man.
Autopsies were planned for Tuesday in Kane County.
