WOODSTOCK – An Algonquin woman is charged with felony robbery for indicating that she had a firearm as she tried to rob a man of a pack of cigarettes.

Alisha L. Reese, 27, of 120 La Fox River Drive, was charged Friday with attempted aggravated robbery with a firearm and obstructing identification, according to court documents.

The more serious charge carries a sentencing range of two to five years. According to court documents, Reese told the alleged victim she had a firearm when she tried to take a pack of cigarettes.

Her bond was set at $15,000, of which Reese will need 10 percent, or $1,500, to be released from McHenry County Jail. Her next court date is Thursday.
