Johnsburg Public Library plans programs for teens

JOHNSBURG – The Johnsburg Public Library, 3000 N. Johnsburg Road, will host a pair of programs for teens this week.

• Teen Advisory Group Special Event, for ages 12 to 18: 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Come for a special showing of the 1978 “Superman” movie starring Christopher Reeve. There will also be a graphic novel swap before the movie. Refreshments will be served.  Registration is not required.

• Autumn Stamping for Adults and Teens: 10 a.m. Saturday. Everyone loves to receive a handmade card. Discover how fun and easy it is to make your own unique creations. All materials will be provided. No prior stamping experience is needed.
