Public weighs in on new ComEd transmission line

CHICAGO (AP) — Candidates for Illinois governor are filing reports showing how much money they raised in the third quarter.

The reports are due to the state by midnight Tuesday.

Four Republicans are competing in the March GOP primary.

State Treasurer Dan Rutherford (ROOTH'-ur-furd) reports he raised about $337,000 in the three-month period ending Sept. 30. He finished the quarter with $1.2 million in his campaign fund.

State Sen. Bill Brady raised about $66,000 during the same timeframe and had about $273,000 on hand.

Republican state Sen. Kirk Dillard and businessman Bruce Rauner hadn't filed reports as of early Tuesday evening.

Neither had Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, who's seeking re-election.

Rauner has said he raised more than $1 million. Quinn's campaign says he raised about $813,000 and has $3 million on hand.
