McHENRY – The Friends of the McHenry Public Library will hold their annual Fall Used Book Sale during library hours this weekend.

Hours of the sale are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the library, 809 Front St. (Route 31 just north of Lillian Street).

Those who check out an item from the library before the book sale will receive a coupon for $1 off a $5 purchase (one to a customer).

The sale will be held in the library’s warehouse. Shoppers should park in the north lot and use Entrance B towards the rear of the building.

Proceeds from the sale help fund programs and projects. The public is invited to attend Friends’ meetings.
