Power restored to Lake in the Hills residents

LAKE IN THE HILLS - Power has been fully restored to ComEd customers around Lake in the Hills affected by a blown transformer Thursday morning, according to the Lake in the Hills Police Department.

The outage began at around 7:30 a.m. after a transformer blew out in the 1300 block of Jefferson Street, police said. At the outage's peak, more than 1,500 customers were powerless.

The main outage area was near Randall and Miller roads.
