Crystal Lake Park District offers camera class

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Park District is offering an opportunity for adults to learn how to take creative control of their digital SLR camera.

Instructor Paul McPherson will teach participants how to operate all the functions on their cameras, including white balance, shooting modes, shutter speed, aperture, composition, flash and more.

Each participant will be given a class assignment CD and will need to bring their cameras to class.

The class will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 30 to Nov. 20, in Room A and B at the park district office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave.

The cost is $115 for nonresidents and $100 for residents.

Registration is required and may be completed online at www.crystallakeparks.org (program code 5242-0) or at the park district office.
