CRYSTAL LAKE – Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt stores in Lake in the Hills and Crystal Lake are hosting a benefit Thursday for the local Susan G. Komen chapter as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Thursday, Yumz will donate 20 percent of all sales to the organization. The Crystal Lake store, open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., is located at 5006 Northwest Highway, Suite D. The Lake in the Hills store, which has the same hours, is located at 277 Randall Road.

Like people around the world, cancer has touched the lives of those within the Yumz family, according to a company news release. The community can take part in one of the company’s biggest fundraisers of the year, raising money for Susan G. Komen, the world’s largest breast cancer organization.
