To the Editor:
It’s very hard to find a primary doctor with such compassion. I hit the jackpot.
I was having problems with shortness of breathe. I walked into Dr. Dilla’s office, became light headed and went down on the floor. I did not black out.
Dr. Dilla put me in one of her rooms, and had someone call 9-1-1. She cradled me in her arms like a mother would do to her child, even though I am older than her. She knew exactly what to tell the emergency crew without having to look up my chart.
She stayed with me until the ambulance came and told them what was wrong with me without skipping a beat.
It reminded me of the days when doctors made house calls. She doesn’t rush you. She will listen to you.
Dr. Dilla, I want to thank you so much for your kindness and warmth. I have been going to her for over two years. Her staff is the same. So, thank you, all.
