To the Editor:
All hail our elected “D.C. Royals,” whose salaries and mega-perks are paid for by American working stiffs that pay federal taxes.
There is no recession in Washington, D.C., not in real estate, not in wages, not in employment, not anywhere.
Let’s all stand in rapt wonder with praise and public adulation for their procrastination until the very last minute to put a Band-Aid on America’s core problems. They display neither competence nor responsibility. They live inside their cockamamie world and make decisions, when push comes to shove, with negative consequences for this fundamentally changed country.
Five hundred thirty-five people in D.C. are in dire need of new employment.
